A key to our strategy is to work in partnership with indigenous organizations. Local people must take responsibility for local problems if they are to avoid dependency on outsiders to bring lasting change.
Our role is to be mentors not implementers. Our role is to find and then equip indigenous leaders. We provide these leaders with the concepts, strategies and the practical tools necessary for them to bring about permanent change in their own context, cultures and communities.
